Among the best winter 2020 anime are sequels to hot shows like Haikyuu!! and A Certain Scientific Railgun, and new movies from popular franchises like Fate/stay night and Digimon Adventure. But you don't have to be up to date on these older series to get in on the fun. There are also plenty of brand new shows like Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, Somali and the Forest Spirit, Dorohedoro, and more.

In the world of Plunderer, everyone has a number. Sometimes, that number refers to how many compliments a person has recieved, or how far they've walked, but sometimes it's a lot more sinister. One thing's for sure, when the number hits zero, disaster strikes. In this world, Hina is sent on a mission by her mother to find the Red Baron, whose count is dangerously close to that final number.

    Toilet-bound Hanako-kun

Despite the admittedly strange title, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is actually a promising new anime. The titular Hanako-kun is one of the "seven wonders" of a local high school, who is willing to grant wishes for a price. At his side is his assistant Yashiro, who is paying off a debt.
