The X-Men are easily one of the most iconic and recognizable superhero teams in the world. There are dozens of formats the characters are utilized in, including video games, films, animated series, and alternate versions of the characters in comic books, with millions of people around the world rooting for them. They've permeated into mainstream pop culture and can be seen just about anywhere these days.

We've decided to compile some of our favorites here. Do you like to play as X-Men characters in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, or do you like playing as them in the Sega Genesis X-Men game? Is the 90s X-Men cartoon your favorite take, or is Wolverine and the X-Men more your cup of tea?
