When it comes to good metroidvania games for Xbox One, there is a pretty good amount of variety. For that reason, we're ranking the best Xbox One metroidvania games, with the help of your votes. 

One of the best Xbox One games that has you exploring and backtracking is Ori and the Blind Forest. Released in 2014, this Xbox exclusive has beautiful graphics and an incredible soundtrack that perfectly matches the atmosphere. If you've never played Axiom Verge, it's another must-play metroidvania game for any Xbox One owner. Other options include Ghost 1.0, The Swapper, and Xeodrifter.

Not every metroidvania game on this list is an Xbox One original - take Shadow Complex Remastered for example, which came out in 2009.
