What Events From The Bible Do You Wish You Could've Seen In Person
The Christian Bible is one of the most popular books in the world and, for many people, one of the most important books written. There are a few slightly different versions, but all creeds of Christianity look to pretty much the same book for much of their teaching (Catholicism and the Eastern Orthodox church have a slightly larger Old Testament). In addition to its important place in religion, the Christian Bible has also been read and studied as a historic document, poetry, and literature. A great many people have read, or at least thumbed through the Bible, and are familiar with its stories.
Those stories are where the intended lessons are learned. There are the more familiar stories that many people hear as children, then there are the less familiar stories that, when we hear them, make us raise an eyebrow and ask, "Is that really in there?" They all seem so fantastic, we sometimes wonder what would it be like to have witnessed them.
