All Started with the Big BangLooking closer at the beloved bazinga-riffic sitcom that followed Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj, Penny, Bernadette, and Amy Farrah Fowler.
Vote up the times the BBT 'geniuses' were extremely stupid.
Making mistakes shouldn't be a big deal in general, but the characters from The Big Bang Theory are supposed to be geniuses, which makes their mistakes stand out in particular. The characters have goofed up plenty of times, usually through making decisions that are clearly not the smartest moves to make. These resulted in the characters suffering from the consequences, such as embarrassment, humiliation, and all-around bad luck.
Here are what may just be The Big Bang Theory's dumbest moments.
In Season 4, episode 5, "The Desperation Emanation," Sheldon thinks Amy wants him to be her boyfriend and goes to great lengths to avoid her. He changes the address of his building and even asks the delivery man to go along with it.
However, Amy shows up at his place, anyway, which Leonard points out is due to the fact that she's been there before, and changing the address won't make a difference.
