The 71st Primetime Emmy Award nominations are in and even though many great shows and awesome performances were recognized, there will always be shows and performers who get left off the list. From actors who were ignored even when their shows were nominated to series whose existence and casts were ignored completely, these are the 2019 Emmy snubs that are smarting the hardest.
With the last season looming, The Good Place has finally secured an Emmy nod for Outstanding Comedy Series, as has Ted Danson for Lead Actor - which makes the absence of Kristen Bell on the nominees list particularly glaring. TV movies and limited series ruled the day in the 2018-2019 television season, but some of the most talked about 2019 miniseries were ignored, such as The Act, I Am The Night, and even Good Omens, which snuck in under the wire by premiering at the cut-off date of May 31, 2019.
