It's that time of year again ladies and gents! As the NFL season starts to hit its stride, there will be players who surprise their teams, fans, and of course, fantasy football owners. This could be a pleasant surprise when a lightly regarded players bursts onto the scene with a number of eyebrow raising performances. Contrarily, it could also mean that a superstar either gets injured, arrested/suspended, or performs well below expectations. With the way the 2014 NFL season has broken so far, it should surprise few football fans that a number of players have come out of nowhere to produce seasons that caught even the most in-the-know experts off guard.
So who has been the biggest fantasy football surprise of the 2014 season? Well, that certainly depends on your point of view. If you ask fantasy owners who have (or had) Adrian Peterson on their roster, he'd be the most likely candidate to be a surprise - or in this case, shock - for his off-field transgressions. On the other hand, fantasy football managers who have Philip Rivers on their team are likely to be pleasantly surprised with what he's done so far.Vote for the player - good or bad - who has been the biggest surprise of the fantasy football season. The definition of surprise is open-ended, so vote on how you think this list should look. Of course, if someone is missing, feel free to add a player to this list.
