A list of the biggest headcases in the NBA. Let's face it, everyone loves a good headcase, right? Well, as long as he isn't on your team. The basketball players on this list are some of the most beloved by his team's fans, when he's not hurting the team's mojo. The players here have managing to drive their teammates, coaches, fans and agents nuts over the years for an assortment of reasons.
There's a reason why most of these guys won't be considered some of the best players in NBA history list. Metta World Peace, aka Ron Artest, is by far and away the most decorated player on this list. A notorious headcase who once jumped into the stands in Detroit (remember the Malice at the Palace??), World Peace has gotten into trouble nearly every season he's played in the NBA and is easily one of the most eccentric players in the league. Battling World Peace is J.R. Smith, another player who is known for being a headcase. Infamously, the Knicks were on the verge of sweeping Boston in the 2013 playoffs before Smith foolishly elbowed Jason Terry in the face. Not only did he get suspended for the following game, Smith lost all the positive mojo and completely fell apart.
Guys like Zach Randolph are headcase legends, while DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins are future leaders of the all-Headcase team. In the case of this list, headcase could vary from a lunatic who fights other players to someone wastes talent or to Royce White, who is in a league of his own.Vote or re-rank this list according to who you think is the NBA's biggest headcase. Add whomever you think is missing from this list as well.
