Bill Murray is using his life to do all of the things. Photo bomb engagement photos, party crash, join people’s random soccer games, read poetry to construction workers, seriously ponder and answer a Reddit question about a horse-sized duck vs. 100 duck-sized horses, and many other things. He's proving to the world that you really CAN have it all. Something every true Bill Murray fan knows is that he uses a random 1-800 phone number instead of an agent, so there's bound to be a few misses when it comes to landing film roles. Although we loved his characters in Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, and every Wes Anderson movie ever made, there are a few movies that he's made that have been less-than-stellar.
Opinions vary on what constitutes one of Bill Murray's bad movies. Some people truly hate Razor’s Edge, while others simply can't stand Passion Play. Some people loved Garfield, but even Murray made a quip about that film in Zombieland. Still, bad movies with Bill Murray in them are enjoyable, at least for the time he’s onscreen. He brings that certain Bill Murray-ness to everything he does. But he can’t save them all.
Weren’t a fan of Space Jam but loved his scenes? You’re not alone. Loved him in What About Bob? but didn’t quite get him in The Man Who Knew Too Little? Many agree with you. What you can’t accuse Bill Murray of is being boring. He may be in a so-so movie but his choices are nothing if not interesting.
