Andromeda Black Overcame Her Family's Abuse And Married A Muggle

    From Redditor u/Evil_Black_Swan:

Andromeda overcame it completely, ghosted her family, married a muggle-born and had Tonks - arguably one of the coolest background characters in the entire series. She then took responsibility for raising her grandson after her daughter and her son-in-law were killed in the Second Wizarding War.

Bellatrix Fully Embraced The Black Family Doctrine

    From Redditor u/Evil_Black_Swan:

Bellatrix... embraced it and everything she had been raised to believe and took pleasure in the suffering of those she deemed beneath her. She loathed her younger sister and wished for the day that she could kill her. Clearly, abuse and cruelty were what make the world work. She made the respectable pureblood marriage she was supposed to, though it was loveless. She devoted everything she had to her master, just as her father had taught her. Her stint in Azkaban sure didn't help, but she was already mad.

Regulus Betrayed Voldemort Because Of His Treatment Of Kreacher

    From Redditor u/aAlouda:

Regulus was a Death Eater, at one Point Voldemort requested a House-Elf from his Death Eaters to do something for him, Regulus volunteered Kreacher the House-Elf of the Black Family (who later comes into possession of Sirius and then Harry).

Voldemort ended up using Kreacher to test the Protection of the Locket Horcrux and had him drink the poison Dumbledore later drunk, afterwards Voldemort left leaving Kreacher behind to die there. Regulus wasn't aware of Voldemort's intention to kill Kreacher ordered him to return home after helping Voldemort, and like all House-Elves Kreacher was forced by magic to obey and appeared next to Regulus and later told him everything that happened.

Horrified about what Voldemort had done, Regulus prepared the fake Locket with his message inside and had Kreacher lead him to the Horcrux. Regulus himself ended up drinking the poison to retrieve the Horcrux and replace it with the fake, he gave it to Kreacher with orders to return Home and to secretly make sure to destroy it. Kreacher ended up seeing how Regulus was dragged under water by the Inferis inside of it.

All The Blacks Are Named After Stars

    From Redditor u/Uminoruka:

All of the Blacks are named after different stars. I was looking at star names for a character of a book I was writing, and I found something interesting. Regulus means "the heart of a lion."

    From Redditor u/Fylak:

because he was in Slytherin, but had the bravery (heart) of a Gryffindor. JK has done it again.

Narcissa Wasn't Completely Sure About The Family's Beliefs But Still Did Everything Asked

    From Redditor u/Evil_Black_Swan:

Narcissa mourned the loss of her older sister, but still held fast to the beliefs she was brought up with. She had a respectable pureblood marriage like she was supposed to (though she did love him) and raised her son the way she was raised. She, along with her husband, raised Draco to believe he was nearly royalty. She only backed down from supporting Voldemort when he turned on her son. (Not dissimilar to how Snape only turned to Dumbledore after he learned his Lord would attack the woman he obsessed over.) Regardless, she still turned away from the bad side in the end.
