The Best Black Panther Versions Of All Time
The Black Panther is officially the first black superhero in mainstream American comics (beating out Falcon, Storm, Luke Cage, Tyroc, Black Lightening, and all others by years), created by comics legends Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in 1966. Since then, there are dozens of formats that he's been utilized in, including video games, films, animated series, and alternate versions of the character in comic books. He was ranked as the 71st greatest comic character of all time by Wizard Magazine and the 51st by IGN.
Now that Black Panther is thoroughly integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Marvel Studios' Phase 3, we've compiled some of our favorite interpretations of T'Challa here. Do you like to play as Black Panther in Ultimate Alliance, or in Lego Marvel Super Heroes? Is the 90s Fantastic Four cartoon your favorite take, or is the BET's Black Panther motion comic show better? Or does the new Black Panther movie top them all?
