'90s kids loved to read. That generation especially that came of age in the early '90 and straddled the line with those mythical '80s kids. This was the generation that adapted to the internet while they were in school. But in those days, the internet was slow-to-download pictures, brightly colored and hard to read web pages, and a mix of chat rooms and AOL instant messenger. Reading for entertainment was still in books and magazines.
The '80s and '90s saw an influx of now classic children's and young adult literature. In addition to what was coming out, kids had reprintings of the stalwarts of the genre to choose from at book fairs. It was a great time to be a young reader. Many of us went through so many books, we may not even remember them all - even ones we loved. This is a reminder.
