Vote up the most glaring plot holes.
From 1993 to 2000, Boy Meets World consumed the TV schedule of nearly every '90s kid. Although tuning into the adventures of Cory, Topanga, and Shawn was a daytime TV treat, full of humor for both kids and adults, some Boy Meets World errors make the show feel like a confusing and open-ended teenage drama. From disappearing characters to plot holes that make you question the sanity of some of the cast members, important people and background stories just became forgotten parts of Boy Meets World.
Where did Shawn and Topanga's siblings go? What exactly happened to Mr. Turner after that motorcycle accident, and why did it take him decades to recover? Some seemingly innocent questions might turn into dark secrets as you ask yourself what's really going on in this classic sitcom.

Mr. Turner Got In A Motorcycle Accident And Vanished
In Season 4 of Boy Meets World, Mr. Jonathan Turner, one of the kids' teachers, got into a tragic motorcycle accident. He survived, but he was never seen again - that is, until decades later in Girl Meets World.
At the start of the show, Cory, Shawn and Topanga were all set to graduate in 2000. In the episode "Class Pre-Union," the class is even welcomed with a full-on "Welcome Back, Class of 2000" banner.
That timeline quickly got convoluted. The characters supposedly entered the 7th grade in the fall of 1994, but the 11th grade in 1996.
Cory and Eric started out with a much larger age gap between them. In Seasons 1 and 2, the two were four years apart. This changed during the final seasons, where they were two years apart.

The Timeline Of Cory And Topanga's Relationship Changed
As Boy Meets World progressed, Cory and Topanga's relationship was molded to make it seem like they'd been in love with each other since childhood. In the first season, it certainly didn't appear that way. At first, they fell in love when they kissed in the episode "Cory's Alternative Friends." Then, it switched to when they were kids. Eventually, the story was that they fell in love when they were toddlers playing on a playground.
Both of Shawn's siblings completely disappeared. His sister, Stacy Hunter, was only mentioned in the episode "Cory's Alternative Friends." Otherwise, she's never seen.
Shawn's other sibling, his half-brother Eddie, was introduced in the episode "The Pink Flamingo Kid." He wasn't referenced again.
