Given that the first US president, George Washington, was elected into office about 250 years ago, it's not surprising that many of the men who have led the country have passed on. But what may be surprising to consider is where past presidents are buried. Because there is no one cemetary housing the past leaders of America, the burial places of presidents are all individually unique; they're buried in places that either meant something to them personally or somewhere significant to the country. Some gravesites of the US presidents truly reflect the accomplishments they had in life and in office, while others are seemingly humble.
