List Rules Vote up the most gruesome things Carnage has ever done.

Spider-Man has perhaps one of the most memorable Rogue Galleries out of any superhero, and one of his absolute worst enemies is the serial killer-turned-serial killer with a symbiote suit known as Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage. The deranged psychopath once shared a cell with Eddie Brock, aka Venom, and when Eddie's symbiote suit came to the rescue, a part of it merged with Kasady, turning him into the even more dangerous Carnage.

Finding gory Carnage comic book moments is easy because almost every single one of his appearances begins or ends with a massacre. But what are the most violent Carnage comic book scenes? The ones that are capable of making you squirm with how disgusting or twisted they are? Below is a list of violent Carnage comics that prove just how dastardly and dangerous the villain is.

Is there any better way to show that a character is truly horrendous than having him torture an animal? In Venom: Carnage Unleashed, readers get a peak at the childhood of Cletus Kasady and the results... aren't very pretty. In the comic he tells his doctor that his mom loved their dog more than she loved Cletus, so a young Cletus took the dog down into the basement and murdered it with an electric drill.

He still fondly remembers how good it felt. If that's not a good indicator that Cletus is beyond any sort of redemption, nothing is.

Whenever Carnage escapes from jail, a trail of bloody bodies follows. The events in Carnage Vs. Deadpool begin with Carnage again breaking out of prison and going on a rampage. His first act is to wipe out a diner full of people and the brutality and gore sets the stage for the rest of the comic book. He first drives a spike into a state trooper's head, and then proceeds to dismember some men who try to stop him.

After he's done with them, he turns his attention to the women and children trapped in the diner. We don't see it, but it's later reported that he killed dozens of people.

Carnage Turns his Psychiatrist Into a Crazy Cannibal
Carnage Turns his Psychiatrist... is listed (or ranked) 3 on the list The 12 Bloodiest, Most Gruesome Things Carnage Has Ever Done

Marvel Comics have done a great job in presenting Carnage as more of a symbol for all the evil out there in the world rather than just one crazy nut job. Any attempt to treat him or cure him has always ended in disaster. In Carnage: Mind Bomb, one particularly renowned doctor tries to understand Kasady's mind, but it obviously ends badly. The doctor wants to know how Carnage sees the world, and when the drugs wear off, Carnage fights back.

Instead of just killing the doctor, Carnage infects the doctor's mind with a bit of his own, and the doctor can see how Carnage actually sees the world. It's enough to turn the stoic psychiatrist into a lunatic who tries to eat the guards who come and save him.

In Carnage: It's a Wonderful Life, Dr. Kafka and Security Chief Jameson are transported inside the mind of Carnage after Carnage infects them both with his symbiote. As you can probably guess, it's not a place filled with rainbows and butterflies. One of the first things the pair see is a room filled with tortured Spider-Men.

They then see a Spider-Man swing in front of them, before he gets horribly decapitated by Carnage. It's brutal and gory and exactly what you would expect from the inner workings of Carnage's mind.
