List Rules Vote up the costumes that best capture Catwoman's character.

Through the years on screens big and small, Catwoman's usually skintight black costume, no matter how much it covers (which in the case of Catwoman's Halle Berry is not much), along with her accessories, manages to reveal her body, mind, and spirit, just as the character's ensemble does in the DC Comics. The Catwoman costume history suggests that from the original Catwoman attire in the 1960s TV series Batman, through the spinoff shows and films that followed, the character's slinky suits, tail, and masks reflect her sleek, slippery, femme fatale persona - and profession as a cat burglar and Batman's sometimes nemesis.

The talented actresses who've portrayed Catwoman in live-action films and on TV - Lee Meriwether (Batman: The Movie), Julie Newmar (Batman TV series), Eartha Kitt (Batman TV series), Halle Berry (Catwoman), Michelle Pfeiffer (Batman Returns), Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises), Camren Bicondova (Gotham), Lili Simmons (Gotham), and Casey Elizabeth Easlick (Birds of Prey TV series) - have all worn the character's attire well, whether it's Newmar's strategically placed belt, Pfeiffer's full head mask and self-stitched suit, Hatheway's stilettos with serrated edges, or even Berry's barely there but industrial-strength bra.

And although every Catwoman had memorable pointy ears, only Hathaway's served a real purpose: they could turn into night goggles.
