Getting rid of gluten has become a major food trend in recent years, thanks to the popularity of gluten-free diets. And like popular fad, the origins can probably be traced to the famous people who are gluten free.
Plenty of actors, athletes and musicians have gone wheat-free in recent years. Some of these celebrities have Celiac disease, a condition in which the small intestine cannot process gluten, while others follow a gluten-free lifestyle to keep in shape. Jessica Alba is one of the most famous people who don’t eat gluten. The Sin City actress reportedly loves to share recipes for healthy and delicious GF foods. Then there’s the gorgeous Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr. She loves to eat homemade gluten-free muffins. TV personality Elisabeth Hasselbeck even wrote a gluten-free survival guide entitled The G-Free Diet.
