The “Wrecking Ball” singer grew up on a farm in Franklin, Tennessee until her family moved when she was eight years old. Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus moved the family to Toronto so he could work on the television series, “Doc.” Miley later got her first acting job on the show. Other famous musicians who grew up on a farm include Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Jewel.
"Young Adult" actress Charlize Theron grew up on a farm in Benoni, South Africa. She used to learn to speak foreign languages from some of the staff at the farm. Theron focused her aspirations on dance while she lived in South Africa.
