Hollywood has a reputation for its excess, and, unfortunately, many of its stars fall victim to illegal activity and end up celebrities in prison. If you’ve ever wondered, “What celebrity or actor got arrested today?” then this list is for you.

Trey Songz is one of the first celebrities arrested in 2021. He was brought in after a struggle with a cop at the Kansas City Chiefs game that earned them a spot in the Super Bowl.

  • Yella Beezy

    Texas rapper Yella Beezy - real name Markies Deandre Conway - was arrested on November 5, 2021, outside Dallas on weapon and sexual assault charges.

    He faced charges of abandoning or endangering a child and unlawful carrying of a weapon, per The Dallas Morning News. The rapper also had an outstanding warrant for a sexual assault charge. He posted a $57,500 bond the same day.

    Yella Beezy had previously been arrested in February 2021 after police allegedly found five guns in his SUV, and in August 2021, for weapons and drugs.

  • Just before he was slated to appear at the Rolling Loud tour at Citi Field in New York on October 28, 2021, Fetty Wap was arrested by FBI agents on allegations he and associates ran a drug trafficking ring from June 2019 to June 2020.

    Officials said the rapper was part of an operation that trafficked at least 100 kilos of opioids, crack, and cocaine from the West Coast, then sold the drugs in New Jersey and Long Island. They seized $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, numerous fentanyl pills, two 9mm handguns, a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a .40 caliber pistol and ammunition. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Nov. 24.

    On November 5, 2021, Fetty Way - real name William Junior Maxwell II - was released on $500,000 bond. While out on bond, he will be under GPS monitoring and subject to random drug testing. He must also surrender his passport.

    Alyssa Milano was arrested outside the White House on October 19, 2021, for refusing to clear the area after police told her and other "No More Excuses: Voting Right Now" protesters that they should disperse or risk being arrested, per a Washington, DC, law that bans crowding or obstructing streets or sidewalks. 

    Milano tweeted: "I was just arrested for demanding the Biden Administration and the Senate to use their mandate to protect voting rights. Stand with me and @peoplefor and tell the Senate and White House that voting rights shouldn’t depend on where you live. #DontMuteOurVote"

  • Flavor Flav

    Flavor Flav was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery on October 5, 2021, by the Henderson Police Department in Las Vegas, TMZ reported. 

    The arrest came after the rapper allegedly grabbed a woman and her phone, threw her down, and poked her nose. 

    The city attorney said Flavor Flav is officially charged with misdemeanor battery constituting domestic violence.

  • Influencer Hayes Grier was arrested in North Carolina on July 30, 2021, following a violent robbery, according to a report from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office. 

    The former Vine star and 2015 Dancing with the Stars contestant was detained in Charlotte, on warrants coming out of Encino, CA, and faces three separate charges: felony conspiracy, common law robbery, and assault causing serious bodily injury. Grier is accused of assaulting William Markolf and stealing his $1,200 phone. According to warrants obtained by TMZ, the alleged attack left Markolf with what Charlotte police described as serious injuries, including brain damage. He also reportedly suffered a broken left orbital bone, bruised ribs, head trauma, and hearing loss. 

    Grier was released after posting the $17,500 bond. 

  • Andy Dick

    Andy Dick was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon on June 26, 2021, the LAPD confirmed. 

    Elisa Jordana spoke about the situation on her YouTube Show, Kermit and Friends. She said he assaulted his lover, Lucas, with a metal chair. 

    Dick reportedly made his $50k bail and was released on June 29, 2021.
