On October 14, 2018, TMZ broke the news that the whirlwind romance of SNL star Pete Davidson and singer Ariana Grande came to a somewhat abrupt end. The two started dating at the end of May 2018 and quickly became engaged.

According to TMZ, both Grande and Davidson agreed it was not the right time for their relationship. Both had ended long-term relationships before they got together.

Grande's ex Mac Miller passed away in September 2018, and Grande had announced she was taking time off to be out of the spotlight for a while.

We feel blessed to be on such an incredible journey in life and sometimes the journey begins to lead in different directions. It is with deep love and respect that we announce we are separating as a couple... This was a difficult decision, but we’ve done plenty of tough things together and this is our next venture — love, mutual respect, and care for each other are what we are moving forward with.

After a little under two years of marriage, actor Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth filed for divorce. A rep for LaBeouf spoke to People, and said, "The separation is amicable and all the details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private." A few days prior, LaBeouf was spotted leaving singer FKA Twigs's home, which fueled rumors about the reason behind the divorce.

LaBeouf and Goth wed in an October 2016 ceremony that was live streamed. LaBeouf told Ellen DeGeneres they didn't intend to share it with the world, but they were ultimately "proud" of their wedding.
