  • Jahmil French

    Degrassi actor Jahmil French passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 29. No cause of death was revealed. 

    French's rep released a statement confirming the sad news, sharing, "It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of a dear friend and client Jahmil French. He will be remembered by many for his passion for the arts, his commitment to his craft, and his vibrant personality. I ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time."

  • Fred Segal

    Los Angeles icon Fred Segal passed away due to complications from a stroke. He was 87. His representatives confirmed the news on February 26, 2021. 

    "In 1961, Fred Segal created a retail scene that defined Los Angeles fashion and sparked a revolutionary shift in style that has transcended the last six decades. Fred Segal pioneered the shop-in-shop concept and experiential retail, resulting in a brand built on heritage, inclusivity and love that changed the face of retail forever," a statement read.

  • Ronald Pickup

    Actor Ronald Pickup, best known for The Crown and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel films, passed away on February 24, 2021. His agent confirmed the news, saying, he "passed away peacefully yesterday after a long illness surrounded by his wife and family. He will be deeply missed." He was 80. 

    Pickup's big break came with his role in the 1964 "The Tyrant of France" episode of Doctor Who. He has also appeared in 1973's The Day of the Jackal, 1982's Never Say Never Again, 1986's The Mission, and 2017's Darkest Hour

    The longtime actor was also a Shakespearean dramatist, having trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He worked with Laurence Olivier at the National Theatre for seven years.

  • Geoffrey Scott

    Dynasty actor Geoffrey Scott passed away on February 23, 2021, due to Parkinson's disease. He was 79. 

    He was most known for playing Mark Jennings on Dynasty and Sky Rumson in Dark Shadows. He also appeared on Where the Heart IsGeneral Hospital, Guiding Light, and Concrete Cowboys. Scott starred in at least 100 commercials throughout his career for such brands as Old Spice, Camel, and Marlboro.
