Fans had reasons to be skeptical of the TV spin-off of the Child's Play films. There hasn't exactly been a good history of horror movie franchises making the leap to television - the less you know about Friday the 13th: The Series the better. So the fact that not only has Chucky been a big hit critically and ratings-wise, (season two has already been announced) it's a huge win for horror fans.
