The world of Disney impacted popular culture in monumental ways, and one artist redirects pop culture back at Disney with his clever and hilarious Disney fan art. José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros's Disney fan art celebrates the famed media empire while simultaneously poking fun at it. Similar to Disney-Star Wars crossover fan art, Ontiveros's artwork features Disney characters mashed up with pop culture references, creating entirely new and sometimes NSFW interpretations of the Magic Kingdom. Some of Ontiveros's Disney mashup fan art, though not quite as horrifying as dirty Disney fan art, definitely skirts the line between tasteful and troubling. In Ontiveros's more controversial Disney fan art pieces, Disney princesses take drugs and play with toys of the adult variety.
But not all of José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros's Disney mashups feature such questionable content; some merely depict Disney princes finding a prince of their own or other film franchises Lilo & Stitch-ing themselves into classic Disney scenes. These are more than just fairy tales, they're very tales, as in "very much going to shock you."
