So far, two big time college football coaches were fired in 2022. Nebrask's Scott Frost was the first college football coach to be fired in 2022. He was shortly thereafter followed by Herm Edwards at Arizona State. Geoff Collins at Georgia Tech, Paul Chryst at Wisconsin, and Karl Dorrell at Colorado were all shown the door swiftly in 2022.
