In The Breakfast Club, when the Janitor, Carl, enters the library he greets Brian exclusively by name and asks how he's doing. This is played off as a joke because of course the nerd would be friends with the janitor. Later it's revealed Carl was the one who found the gun in Brian's locker. This explains why Carl greets Brian by name and why he checks in with him on how he's doing. Carl is the only decent adult in the movie.
In the movie My Girl, the scene in the funeral parlor at the beginning, a small casket is shown and Bandages asked if it is for a child, foreshadowing the ending.
In TheVirgin Suicides, the Lisbon girls' pre-prom picture foreshadows how the movie ends. Lux’s hand looks like she's holding a cigarette (She dies with a cigarette in her hand). Therese has her eyes closed (She overdoses on sleeping pills). Mary is stuck between the other two girls (she sticks her head in an oven), and Bonnie is grabbing her neck (she hangs herself).
In 10 Things I hate About You, Patrick sees Kat playing a Squire Strat in the music store. When he surprises her with a new guitar at the end of the movie, it’s actually a Fender Strat. Fender is the top of the line brand, whereas Squire is their budget, entry-level brand.
