As big as Comic-Con has become, most attendees share the same interests. So naturally, walking around the convention, you saw popular cosplay at San Diego Comic-Con that everyone and their grandma's turtle decided to deck themselves out in. Common cosplay from SDCC 2017 included material from fresh new/revitalized fandoms like the Stranger Things and Deadpoool crowds, along with your standard Potter and Star Wars fare. While most certainly not bad cosplay, the cosplay everyone wore at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 does feel a little tired after a while. How many different ways can a person wear Louise Belcher's hat?
As a result, you got left with a surplus of the same old cosplays you saw in past years and will definitely see again in years to come. On one hand, thank God people feel comfortable to express their nerd love in such flashy and fun ways. On the other, though, where's the creativity?
