You don't need a crystal ball to tell that green cars are the future of the auto industry. What used to be far-off speculation and a smattering of concept cars has now turned into a wide array of new, daring, eco-friendly vehicles for the masses.

With cars like the hydrogen fuel cell powered Toyota Mirai, commercial trucks like the electric Tesla Semi, and lightning-fast sports cars like the electric hypercar Rimac C_Two, the incredible future of the automotive world is at our doorstep. All eyes in the industry are on these advancements, and with good reason. Cars that develop maximum torque in the blink of an eye, charge from their owners' garages, and save people from ever having to step foot in a Chevron ever again are bound to turn some heads (metaphorically speaking, since you can't hear them coming.)

As with the rest of the tech world, it'll be out with the old and in with the new before you know it, and these legendary green cars will be leading the charge.
