Michael Jackson was an international pop music sensation and is still regarded as one of the greatest singers in history. He sold millions of albums and was even the best selling music artist in the US when he passed in 2009. All that success gave Jackson the opportunity to create his own private paradise, Neverland Ranch (named after the fantasy island where Peter Pan lives).
Jackson turned his 3,000 acre ranch into a personal theme park with an assortment of rides, entertainment, and Neverland Ranch animals. To help navigate the giant property, Jackson had not one, but two, fully-functional passenger trains.
For the most part, Neverland Ranch always sounded fun and full of whimsy. There was plenty to eat, see, and do, including a petting zoo to a tricked-out concert venue. Prior to Jackson's 2005 trial, some of the items at Neverland Ranch took on a more unsettling connotation. Sinister or not, a lot of these are simply surprising purchases.
