This dashcam video shows a brick fly off of truck and smash through the car’s windshield, killing a 29-year-old mother. Everyone in the car - we assume the father and their kids - immediately, and reasonably, begins freaking out. This recording is extremely upsetting and disturbing.

Harrowing 9-1-1 domestic abuse call from child

This disturbing audio clip has a young child frantically pleading with a 9-1-1 dispatcher to send police to stop her stepdad from continuing to beat her mother. The level of anxiety in this recording is palpable, but what's more upsetting is knowing that someone had to grow up with these kinds of traumatic experiences under their belt.

Audio recording of over 900 people committing mass suicide

In this disturbing 44-minute audio clip of the Jonestown massacre, we can hear Jim Jones go through the process of introducing the idea of mass suicide, pitching it to over 900 of his cult members, answering questions about the pitch, convincing them to do it, and egging them on as it all plays out before him. It's uncanny and weird to not only hear all this, but also, to hear him hurrying up the mass suicide - around 30 minutes in, he cuts a woman off the microphone and urges his followers, "Let's just be done with it, let's just be done with it."

You can also hear the crowd go through the horrifying logical calisthenics it must take to induce your own and your kids' suicide while everyone around you - your friends, your family, your loved ones - all do the same; at turns they scream and go into hysterics, pause for a beat, then elatedly applause at one of Jones' dreadful one-liners. Truly upsetting and graphic.
