Amusement parks are usually full of bright colors and exciting sounds. People scream on roller coasters and kids chow down on sugary treats while their parents try to keep them under control. Or at least that's how it usually works. The thing is, there are a lot of creepy abandoned amusement parks out there too.
Running a theme park isn't an easy thing to do. Thanks to the dangers and high costs of maintenance, many amusement parks become abandoned and are left for dead. The rides begin to rust and the attractions and statues start to decay. The result is hundreds of wonderfully creepy abandoned theme parks around the globe.
