From the early days of Maleficent to more modern baddies like Ernesto Cruz, Disney villains have plagued fairytale heroes for decades. Oftentimes their dastardly intentions are plain to see-- Ursula wants to rule the sea in The Little Mermaid; Jafar desires absolute power in Aladdin. Behind these insidious plans are some dark details you may have missed, though. For example, while it appears Hans is trying to save Elsa from a crossbow shot in Frozen, his real intent is to crush her with the chandelier. Sid from Toy Story is evil through and through, but he's actually worse than you thought. Did you know he actually studies an "Improvised Interrogation Handbook?" If you look closely during Gaston's demise in Beauty and the Beast, you'll see that skulls appear in his eyes as he falls!

The Coachman Uses Children To Pull His Coach In 'Pinocchio'
In Pinocchio (1940), the coach taking the kids to the Isle is pulled by donkeys who were probably also children brought there. This would explain the constant whipping from the coachman as well.
In The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Frollo offers captured Gypsies silver coins for the location of Esmeralda. He asks 3 times, raising the price by 10 each time. On the 3rd time, he offers nothing. He would have otherwise offered them 30 silver pieces, the same price that bought Judas.
