Apparently, Working On 'Full House' Wasn't As Fun As It Looked

While on set, Dave Coulier had no problem breaking wind at any time. According to Saget, the smell was enough to send cast members scattering in all directions. The stench of Coulier's gas could fill an entire stage, and nobody wanted to deal with it.

His hardcore rips are a recurring feature on gag reels for all eight seasons of Full House.

You would think that the budget for working with babies would at least include a designated diaper changer. Bob Saget was forced to clean up the Olsen twins more than he expected during extended periods of filming. In his memoir, Saget wrote:

Cameras were rolling and one of the young ladies had made a poop, which had to be removed or we would have been holding a child with a smashed-poo-filled diaper for a long scene. I didn’t want the poo to cause a rash and soil my television child’s butt, so I decided to take the time to remove the aforementioned substance from the diaper, so that my television baby was poo-free.

Caring for the Olsen twins continued as the three worked together on the popular show, and after Saget's passing, Mary-Kate and Ashley remembered him as "the most loving and generous man."

Uncle Jesse wasn't always the hunky sweetheart who melted hearts with a mere "Have mercy!" The Olsen twins could sometimes be hard to manage on set - throwing tantrums, crying, and basically being babies about the whole thing because, well, they were babies at the time. John Stamos got fed up with the kids ruining takes and urged producers to fire them from the show.

Full House tried using a couple of stand-ins after sending the Olsens off, but they didn't work out, and the twins were brought back into the family.

When Full House came to an end, Jodie Sweetin, the middle child of the sitcom family, was 13 and out of the job she'd held for most of her life. Like many child actors before her, she fell into a downward spiral that began after she started drinking at age 14. She had her first drink at co-star Candace Cameron's wedding, and things escalated from there.

Throughout high school and college, Jodie was in and out of rehab and picked up a methamphetamine habit on top of her drinking. She had success finding treatment for her addictions, but relapses cost her multiple marriages and the custody of her first child. 

Since the Full House production crew didn't want the audience to know they were using twins for the role of Michelle, the Olsens were credited as a single child for most of the series. Instead of appearing separately as Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, their credits were lumped together as "Mary-Kate Ashley Olsen."

 It wasn't until Season 8, when the twins had grown noticeably different and were gaining popularity outside of the series, that Full House gave them separate credits as "Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen."

Long days on set can be stressful, and the trio of full-grown male comedians found plenty of ways to relieve that tension, including stripping down to their underwear. Saget, Stamos, and Coulier had a tendency to pull pranks on set. On one particularly long day, they got the idea to perform a scene totally pants-less.

While the crew thought the sans-pants take was comedy gold, parents watching backstage with the kids saw everything and weren't happy.
