Ryan Reynolds, the lead actor of Deadpool (2016), revealed during a talk at Google that the taxi driver character "Dopinder" was named after "a really cool guy" he knew in elementary school, who died when he was hit by lightning. It was meant to be a tribute to him.

Wade Knows Where To Shoot Because He Sees Blood Spatter On The Camera
In Deadpool 2 (2018), we get a second, more subtle, Hugh Jackman reference. Deadpool’s map has a mention of Prisoner 24601 on it. That is Jean Valjean's prisoner number from Les Misérables, who was also played by Jackman.

Wade Wears A Shirt From 'The Goonies' While Talking To Cable
In Deadpool 2, while having a conversation with Cable, Wade wears the same floral shirt that Chunk wears in The Goonies (1985). This is a nod to Josh Brolin's first big Hollywood movie.
