I feel like she is being underutilized. Nezuko is predominantly being used as a plot device. It is because of Nezuko's survival that we even have the story. Tanjiro would have a different motivation if Nezuko was not alive.
Right now, she is essentially a mascot like Groot or Baby Yoda. Just a cute little object for people to fawn at. There's a lot of depth and potential in this character, but her character has not been utilized very well (I hope this changes for future seasons). She has a strong will, self control, and immense love for humanity. She is a hard worker and is very driven (it cannot be easy ignoring her instinct to drink blood, what a champ), but she has very few moments to shine...

Eliminating The Lower Moons Was A Bad Decision
Killing the Lower Moons was one of the worst decisions Goutoge made. Not only did it waste a lot of potentially interesting characters, which could’ve been used to develop the pillars earlier, but also shortened the story by a considerable amount.
Shinobu and Lady Tamayo are OP and I don't care what anyone says. I don't wanna spoil anything but if it wasn't for them, a lot of stuff would have turned bad real quick.
Tanjiro remember[ing] Hinokami Kagura from his childhood memories is great but the delivery could've been a lot better with some foreshadowing or pre-establishment…just because he remembered the dance and the moves doesn't mean he should [be] able to know the breathing technique. It's just [a] typical as*pull.
Nezuko woke up and save[d] Tanjiro [was] also brilliant as that's arguably the theme of this battle - the battle between 2 different ideologies on family bond - but, again, Nezuko just learned how to use her blood demon art even though she never practiced, and she hasn't been through that [many] battle[s] for experience…she instantly knew how to [use her blood demon art] and [that it] was going to be helpful for that situation, even though she never used it and [couldn't] possibly know what kind of blood demon art she possesses.
Zenitsu is not relatable. Yes, most people would be scared of demons and open conflict, that's reasonable, but his level of cowardice is embarrassing and unfunny.
