In the Season 1 episode "Bridle Gossip," the ponies find themselves suffering from weird ailments. Fluttershy develops a deep man’s voice and Rarity grows extra hair. Spike wants to bake a gem-infused cake and offers to watch the ponies' pet animals in exchange for gems, but soon finds himself in over his head.
