If you're looking for a Disney Plus animal documentary, you've come to the right place. This list is filled with docuseries that are centered around the animal kingdom, from dogs to kangaroos to flying foxes. Animals make excellent documentary subjects. They're endlessly fascinating, and unlike humans, they always act naturally in front of the camera. After all, these animals don't even know what a camera is! On top of that, many of the animals in the shows below are really cute in their close-ups.

Dog lovers will be interested in Dog Whisperer, Dog: Impossible, and Pick of the Litter. Most Disney Plus animal shows come from National Geographic, but Pick of the Litter is in fact a Disney Plus original series. If you'd rather take a walk on the wild side, shows like Wild Russia and Kingdom of the White Wolf offer an exciting glimpse into the lives of bears, tigers, and wolves. Whether you're looking for your daily dose of cuteness or wanting to learn more about different creatures, Disney Plus has something that will fit the bill.

In case you didn't think kittens, puppies, or lambs could get any cuter, Unlikely Animal Friends comes along to prove you wrong. In fact, animals are infinitely cuter when they have a pal from a different species. You will not believe some of these unexpected duos. A lamb and a rhino, a duck and a cat, a pony and a boxer all prove to make excellent companions for one another. Learn about these unique interspecies relationships while falling in love with the adorable animals on screen. This show proves that animals are capable of forging connections with creatures unlike themselves, which is a heartwarming message that will leave a smile on your face.

Dr. Michelle Oakley loves her job. She works as a veterinarian in rugged Northern Canada, making house calls for animals that are sometimes hundreds of miles apart. Her main office is in Haines Junction, Yukon, but she also operates out of two sattelite locations each 100 miles away. While the mind-blowing distance between each location would drive many away, Dr. Oakley takes on each task with a sense of dedication. Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet follows Oakley as she balances her demanding job with family life, taking each day at a time. Plus, you'll meet her patients, which are often cute (and sometimes exotic) pets.

Dr. Susan Kelleher isn't your average veterinarian. Operating out of South Florida, she runs an animal hospital for exotic pets. At Broward Avian and Exotics Animal Hospital, you never know what's going to walk in the door. From foxes to parrots to primates, Dr. K interacts with all sorts of critters that make for unique pets. The show follows the daily activities of Dr. K and her hardworking staff, who do their best to heal their animal patients. Sometimes situations get hairy (or feathery, or scaly), but at the end of the day, Dr. K's love for exotic animals shines through as she helps out these unconventional critters.

Based on the 2018 movie of the same name, Pick of the Litter documents the journey of six potential guide dogs: Paco, Pacino, Raffi, Amara, Tulane, and Tartan. Each one undergoes special training as they get closer and closer to becoming a companion to the blind. The road isn't always easy, and these dogs need plenty of encouragement, affection, and love as they learn to become obedient and attentive. Learn about the rigorous process of becoming a guide dog while indulding in some serious doggy cuteness. Is it possible to pick a favorite? That's highly unlikely.
