Coined from the 1938 play (then movie), the term gaslighting refers to when a person manipulates others by creating a false narrative, thus making them question their judgments (or sanity). And in Disney movies, this is a common tool among many villains. From convincing young girls that they are not good enough to telling lies in an effort to distort events, here are a few examples of good, old-fashioned gaslighting as demonstrated by Disney villains.
