Miss Fame, of RuPaul's Drag Race fame, has a signature move to keep her contour right: hold the head of a dense, angled brush to apply your contour shade.  She explains, "This keeps your contour soft and diffused, rather than thick, heavy, which can age a face quickly."

  • Valentina Talks True Color

RuPaul's Drag Race alum Valentina has a genius tip for getting the perfect lip color. Violet Chachki's trick to bigger eyes? " I just cover my entire natural lid with eyeliner, up to my crease. Then I go in under my brow bone and draw in a new crease. You have to play with shadow to create the illusion of a new eye shape." Yes, queen!

Slow and stable wins the (drag) race!

Drag queen Darienne Lake is resourceful with her beauty routine - in a pinch, she'll swap out her primer for lube! "I found this great makeup primer, and I read the ingredients. I realized the main ingredient is also the same main ingredient that’s in my lube! It’s the same exact stuff - dimethicone... So sometimes I’ll use just a drop of lube on my face as a primer or in my hair for silkiness. Lube as a primer makes makeup just glide over your face so smoothly." Would you try this trick?

According to Morgan McMichaels, you don't have to be so precious about keeping hairspray off your face. "People say, 'Don't ever get hairspray on your face!' but with everything else, the smoke, dirt, air, it doesn't much matter," McMichaels swears. "I use hairspray to set my makeup."
