Graffiti artists Blesea and Baby K are based out of France, but their hyper-realistic street murals are creating a buzz around the world. The two artists use bright colors and large-scale paintings to bring classic cartoons to life. Both men love Dragon Ball Z, which inspired them to paint a huge depiction of Shenron, DBZ's eternal dragon who can grant any wish.
In many ways, the anime-inspired mural feels like a granted wish. In 2017, the talented creators covered a former Nazi stronghold on Normandy's Réville beach with the massive green dragon. Their art helps to transform a hurtful part of history into something a little more palatable.
On top of painting icons from the Dragon Ball franchise, both Blesea and Baby K craft murals that feature other animated TV and cinematic icons. These guys definitely know how to handle a few cans of paint.
