Being in the public eye as a celebrity makes everything more difficult. You have to be very careful about how you compose yourself or else your slips will live on the Internet forever. Even though access to alcohol and drugs is easier for the rich and the famous, they also need to learn how to handle themselves better. There have been some truly disastrous drunk interviews as well as high interviews over the years. Check out the list below for some of the funniest and most awkward drunk celebrity interviews and interviews given under the influence.

Paul Rudd & Jason Segal

Not all stoned interviews are complete disasters. A few years back, Paul Rudd and Jason Segal were making the rounds for their movie I Love You, Man, and one of their interviews went viral. Watching these two clearly stoned while laughing and goofing around for seven minutes might just be the pick-me-up you need. These two are funny guys normally, but adding marijuana to the mix just seems to make them more hilarious.

While promoting her new book, former adult film star Jenna Jameson gave a truly bizarre interview to Good Morning New York. Slurring her words and having trouble forming complete sentences, it’s rumored that her initial two-part segment was cut short after just four minutes when producers realized that Jameson was in no state to continue. Later, she told TMZ that she was just exhausted, but that excuse doesn’t explain her odd interview.

James Brown

When an interview starts with someone shouting “LIVING IN AMERICA,” you know you’re in for quite the experience. Having just been released from jail the day before over allegations of Brown threatening his wife’s life while high, James Brown sat down with CNN to discuss his side of things… or he would have, if he wasn’t high as a kite. It’s unclear what drug Brown is on, but at least he appears to be having a good time. He doesn’t seem to acknowledge the interviewer’s questions, preferring to shout out random song lyrics, but at least he does it all with a smile on his face.

If you were an A-list celebrity who just gave one of the oddest drunk interviews ever, would you admit it? That seems to be the case with Mark Wahlberg’s infamous appearance on The Graham Norton Show in 2013. After a truly bizarre extended interview, which included antics like Wahlberg looking flirtatiously at fellow guest Sarah Silverman and rubbing Norton’s nipples, Wahlberg later admitted that it was all part of an elaborate preplanned bit. Was that really true? Check out the video and decide for yourself if Wahlberg is truly one of the greatest actors of this generation.
