ER had a brilliant run that lasted 15 seasons and 331 total episodes from 1994-2009. The show had its fair share of successful actors and actresses in the main cast, including George Clooney, Mekhi Phifer, and Noah Wyle, to name a few. Along the way, there was also plenty of famous people on ER making cameos and guest appearances throughout the years. Now, years removed from the series, with so many episodes in the foggy part of your memory bank, it’s quite a surprise to see some of the stars who had guest appearances on ER.

On the third episode of ER’s 10th season, a lot is going on, but almost lost in all of the action if you don’t play close attention is a very young Zac Efron, who dies on the operation table.

In the 12th episode of season six, Shia has a guest appearance as a boy who is in the hospital after getting in a fight at school. Shia’s character Darnel has muscular dystrophy, and you might just be blown away by LaBeouf’s performance. He does so well in one particular scene that involves tears, it might just coax some out of your own eyes.
