List RulesVote up MLB players based on how dominant their Triple Crown seasons were
All 13 players to achieve the Triple Crown in baseball history have etched their names in the record books. It is one of the rarest feats in major league baseball to lead the league in the categories of average, home runs, and RBIs. It is even rarer than a perfect game, which has been achieved 23 times. Every hitter here could be considered among the best players in baseball history.
But not all Triple Crown winners are created equally. Miguel Cabrera eeked his out by 4 points of average over Mike Trout and just one home run over Josh Hamilton and Curtis Granderson. Meanwhile, Joe Medwick and Carl Yastrzemski finished in ties for the lead in home runs in their Triple Crown campaigns.
Rogers Hornsby and Ted Williams are the only two players ever to achieve the feat twice in their careers, and in the past 50 years, only Cabrera has been able to accomplish it.
So which of these players had the most impressive Triple Crown season (or seasons)? Who dominated his league like few others ever have while achieving one of the most impressive feats in baseball?
