This list contains information about ex-Mormon celebrities, loosely ranked by fame and popularity. Several famous actors, musicians, and politicians are former members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of these celebrities left the church when they became adults, while others left as children when their parents decided to explore other religions.

Who is the most famous person who is an ex-Mormon? Amy Adams tops this list. Adams was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but her family left Mormonism when her parents got divorced in 1985. Aaron Eckhart was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He once served as a missionary in Europe for two years. He has stated in several interviews that he no longer considers himself to be Mormon.

Jewel's family stopped attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was seven years old. Panic! at the Disco musician Brendon Urie was raised in a Mormon family. He later left the church and has said that music is his religion.
