    Aksel Lund Svindal (born 26 December 1982) is a Norwegian former World Cup alpine ski racer. Born in Lørenskog in Akershus county, Svindal is a two-time overall World Cup champion (2007 and 2009), an Olympic gold medalist in super-G at the 2010 Winter Olympics and in downhill at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and a five-time World Champion in downhill, giant slalom, and super combined (2007 Åre, 2009 Val-d'Isère, 2011 Garmisch, and 2013 Schladming).     Kjetil Jansrud (born 28 August 1985) is a Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer and Olympic champion. He races in all alpine disciplines apart from slalom, and his best event used to be the giant slalom where he has 6 World Cup podiums and an Olympic silver medal. However, since 2012 he has become more of a speed specialist, having won all but two of his World Cup victories in the speed events. At the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, he won the Super-G and placed third in the Downhill. At the World Championships in 2019 at Åre, Jansrud won gold in the downhill. Born in Stavanger, Jansrud hails from Vinstra in Gudbrandsdalen, about forty kilometres (25 miles) from Kvitfjell.
