Anna Vladimirovna Chicherova is a Russian high jumper of Armenian origin. She was the gold medalist at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2011 World Championships in Athletics and won a bronze medal in the event at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Susianna "Susi" Levonovna Kentikian is an German-Armenian professional boxer now residing in Germany. She was born in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, but she left the country with her family at the age of five because of the Nagorno-Karabakh War. Kentikian has lived in Hamburg since 1996 and began boxing when she was twelve years old. Following a successful amateur career, she turned professional in 2005 when she signed with the Hamburg boxing promoter Spotlight Boxing.
