    Padma Parvati Lakshmi Vaidynathan (born September 1, 1970), known professionally as Padma Lakshmi (Tamil: பத்மா லட்சுமி, pronounced [ˈpəd̪maː ˈləkʃmiː]), is an American author, actress, model, television host, and executive producer. She is the host of the US cooking competition program Top Chef. She has hosted the show continuously since season 2 (2006), with season 16 (2018) being the latest. For her work, she received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Reality Host in 2009. She has published three cookbooks and one memoir. She has also ventured into acting in film and television, and hosted several cooking programs before Top Chef. She also launched her own kitchenware line.

    Julia Carolyn Child (née McWilliams; August 15, 1912 – August 13, 2004) was an American chef, author and television personality. She is recognized for bringing French cuisine to the American public with her debut cookbook, Mastering the Art of French Cooking, and her subsequent television programs, the most notable of which was The French Chef, which premiered in 1963.

Other programs to her credit include Rachael Ray's Week In A Day and the reality format shows Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, and Rachael Ray's Kids Cook-Off. Ray has written several cookbooks based on the 30 Minute Meals concept, and launched a magazine Every Day with Rachael Ray, in 2006. Ray's television shows have won three Daytime Emmy Awards.

    Giada Pamela De Laurentiis (born August 22, 1970) is an American chef, writer, and television personality. She is the host of Food Network's Giada at Home. She also appears regularly as a contributor and guest co-host on NBC's Today. De Laurentiis is the founder of the catering business GDL Foods. She is a winner of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Host and the Gracie Award for Best Television Host.

  • Paula Ann Hiers Deen (born January 19, 1947) is an American TV personality and cooking show host. Though married since 2004 to Michael Groover, she uses the last name Deen, from her first marriage.

  • Nigella Lucy Lawson (born 6 January 1960) is an English food writer and cooking show host. She is the daughter of Nigel Lawson, a former Chancellor of the Exchequer, and Vanessa (née Salmon) Lawson, whose family owned the J. Lyons and Co. food and catering business. She attended Godolphin and Latymer School, London.
