Eleni Karaindrou (Greek: ĪĪ»ĪĪ½Ī· ĪĪ±ĻĪ±ĪĪ½Ī“ĻĪæĻ ) is a Greek composer, born in the village of Teichio (Tichio) in Phocis, Central Greece, on November 25, 1941. She is best known for scoring the films of the Greek director Theo Angelopoulos.
Karaindrou moved with her family to Athens when she was eight years old, and she studied piano and theory at the Hellenikon Odeion (Hellenic Conservatory). She also attended history and archaeology classes at the university. During the time of the Greek military junta of 1967ā1974 she lived in Paris, where she studied ethnomusicology and orchestration, and improvised with jazz musicians. Then she began to compose popular songs.

Georges Diran Garvarentz (Armenian: ŌŗÕøÖÕŖ ÕÕ«ÖÕ”Õ¶ ŌæÕ”Õ¼Õ¾Õ”ÖÕ„Õ¶Ö, 1 April 1932 - 19 March 1993) was an Armenian-French composer, noted for his music for films and Charles Aznavour's songs.
Giorgos Katsaros (Greek: ĪĪ¹ĻĻĪ³ĪæĻ ĪĪ±ĻĻĪ±ĻĻĻ) (born on 7 March 1934 in Corfu) is a famous Greek musician and songwriter. He plays the alto saxophone. He has made a variety of recordings, collaborating amongst others with Greek musical composers, such as Yannis Theodoridis and Mimis Plessas.
In 1972 he wrote the music for Alekos Sakellarios' I Komissa tis Kerkyras (Greek: Ī ĪŗĻĪ¼Ī·ĻĻĪ± ĻĪ·Ļ ĪĪĻĪŗĻ ĻĪ±Ļ The Countess of Corfu).
He is currently the art director of the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Athens.
