Famous Female Models Who Are LGBTQ+ Icons

A number of top fashion models are gay. Whether they've come out with fanfare or not, many of these women have become LGBTQ+ icons. Some notable openly gay female models work the runway while other popular lesbian, bi, and queer models are best known for their ad campaigns. A few of the most famous LGBTQ+ models got their start on America's Next Top Model.

Who will you find on this list of famous female models? Cara Delevingne appears at the top. She hasn't made an official coming out announcement, but she did make this post on National Coming Out Day in 2014: "I'm late for National Coming Out Day but better late than never. Don't be scared to be who you are." She was also in a relationship with Annie Clark - the musician also known as St. Vincent. Amber Rose is another famous model who has talked about her fluid sexuality. Freja Beha Erichsen, seen on the cover of many magazines, has never publicly announced that she is gay, but it is well known that she dates women. Other women featured on this top lesbian models list include Catherine McNeil, Ruby Rose, and Jessica Clark.

Which of these fashionable women inspires you?
