Shirley Temple is one of the most famous performers in the history of Hollywood. Known for her darling antics and tap dancing, she was the child star to beat in her time. She started acting at the age of 3 and some of her most memorable films include Curly Top and Our Little Girl. As she became older, she switched over to politics and became the United States Ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia.

Shirley Maclaine is another famous actress who is still working today. She has won an Academy Award, 5 Golden Globes, a BAFTA, and many more. Funnily enough, she was even named after Shirley Temple. Her debut film even got her a Golden Globe win: Alfred Hitchcock's The Trouble with Harry.
