Every Famous Person Who Has Tested Positive For COVID-19

It’s official: America’s dad became the first celebrity to receive a positive COVID-19 diagnosis. Tom Hanks posted on Instagram that he and his wife Rita Wilson, who were in Australia while he filmed a movie, both were among the first celebrities to test positive. By late November 2020, as America's infection numbers rose to heights not seen since the beginning of the pandemic, several politicians reported testing positive for coronavirus. Among them: Rick Scott, Chuck Grassley, Ben Carson, and Donald Trump. Other members of President Trump's family with COVID-19 include first lady Melania Trump, their son Barron, and Donald Trump Jr.

These are not the only famous people to have been touched by COVID-19, however. Since February 2020, more than 100 famous people - not to mention more than 20 million other people in America - have revealed their diagnoses and updated the public on their health. The first recorded case of the virus in humans was in Wuhan, China, in November or December 2019.

Don’t panic. Wash your hands, put on your mask, avoid large public gatherings, and check back to see if any of your favorite celebrities have landed on the list.

Glenn Beck said he tested positive for COVID-19 for a second time, during a January 12, 2022, interview on Mark Levin's radio show.

"I am great, Mark. I am great... despite having COVID and seeing the destruction of our country, I'm great... I mean, I've been doing my show... It's a lighter case but it's now starting to go into my lungs today, a little disturbing. But I'm on all the medications and treatments and everything else, so we'll see," Beck said, adding, "I'm on ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine - what is it, Fluvoxin? I'm on a bunch of different... I mean, my doctors are hitting it really hard."

None of the medications Beck mentioned taking have been approved by the FDA as treatments for COVID-19, nor has any research shown them to be safe and effective as treatments for the virus.

This is Beck's second time getting the virus. During an interview with Fox News in April 2021, Beck said, "I"m not going to get a vaccination, because I've already had it."

Note: Medical experts have noted that any immunity is temporary, and can disappear within months. It is also less effective against the Omicron variant, due to the mutations in the virus.

Tori Spelling has tested positive for the virus, and so has her entire family, the star revealed via Instagram on January 8, 2022.

"I share a lot on social media but this is one thing I didn’t want to share... But, at this point people are getting frustrated not getting responses, personally and business-wise from me and wondering why I’m MIA, so I finally decided to share. Our entire family has COVID. Yes, every single member got it. We all have varying degrees of symptoms. I was last to be symptomatic. We all were praying it was just a bad winter cold. But it wasn’t. Nothing is worse than wanting to care for your little ones but feeling so sick you can barely function yourself. I feel useless as a parent. Devastated. A mom is supposed to take care of their kiddos when sick. That’s how it works. But, we are all getting through this together. I know we aren’t alone. So many are going through this as well. Have gone through this. And, will go through this... This post took 45 [minutes] of starting and stopping to write. #covidsucks," she wrote, alongside a photo of herself and one of her children.

That same day, her husband Dean McDermott also confirmed having tested positive.

She has also starred in several independent films such as The House of Yes (1997), Trick (1999), Scary Movie 2 (2001), Cthulhu (2007), Kiss the Bride (2007) and Izzie's Way Home (2016).  ...more
